Looking for someone to meter my S3 Krypton

Hello All!

I got my exchanged S3 KRYPTON 1000mW and I was wondering if anyone is close to Portland Oregon that would help me get another LPM test on my laser. I have the laserbee 2.5W USB, and I'm just looking for a second opinion to see if its performing as well on my LPM.

The Laserbee is a solid meter. As long as you followed the instructions to the letter, it should be accurate.

If you have a window selected you can press ALT + Print Screen (Prnt Scr on some keyboards), that will then place a snapshop of that window in the clipboard which you can then paste in paint or a similar program and save as jpg, gif, png or whatever.

ALT + Print Screen takes a snapshop of the actual window.
Print Screen without a modifier takes a snapshop of your whole desktop.

Like I wrote, if you press alt + print screen it will put a snapshot/picture of the window and all of its content in the clipboard (ctrl + c).

Without alt it will take a snapshot of the entire desktop(s). So if you have dual monitors with extended desktop then it will grab a picture that is as wide as both desktops.

The easiest way to "learn" this is by doing :) Try pressing ALT + PrntScr while the browser you read this thread in has focus. Next open Windows Paint (or similar) and press Ctrl + V (paste what is in the clipboard). This should then insert the window you just "grabbed".

A few useful shortcuts:

CTRL + A = Select all
CTRL + C = Copy
CTRL + X = Cut
CTRL + V = Paste
CTRL + Z = Undo
CTRL + Y = Redo

Did you know that the EagleEye software can do
an Image Save of any Chart....:beer:

It's explained in the supplied Instruction PDFs...

You can then post the Charts as an Image...

Personally I find the screenshots or pictures of the screen to be more genuine. To be fair I'm probably paranoid, but it is rather easy to manipulate the data file containing ... well the data:p

Video is really the best option IMO.

@justdopey365 did you buy the 1W model? When did you buy it?

Reason I'm asking is we're all rather skeptical of anything WL. If they are starting to send out on spec lasers though, that would be great news.

Would you mind posting a mini video review. Doesn't have to be pretty, just a quick LPM run on viode with the laser, thermopile and your screen in it?

Yup, no problem. Ill get it later tonight. I bought this laser in december and unfortunately I had to rma this laser about 3 times till I got this laser. I've had a few different s3 in the past and I can tell this is a quality model. It actually has a serial number on the laser itself, its a lot heavier than my previous models, and this one doesn't heat up like the others.

Yeah sorry Jerry I don't remember seeing the saving instructions. I just remember the proper procedure to measure the lasers power.
