Lasers in Projection Televisions?

I was jw what kind of lasers you could find in big bulky color project TV's and what power they have coming out of them? My understanding is that there are 3 lasers? in a color tv the movie VERY fast in motion to produce a picture, and that is the picture you get on the screen. The convex lense of the tv screen multiplies the original size of the picture area produced by the lasers. So I was posting asking if it is posable to scavage the lasers out of color projection TV's and use them in different projects? Data would be nice if any has knowledge of the lasers in color projection screens! Thank you for your time! Hopefully I can gain some better understanding of the lasers in these tv's!

Lasers? all the ones I ever pulled apart had 3 Cathode ray tubes one RED one Green and one Blue and of course the great huge lenses too.

so whear can i get one of thease?

I thought there were 3 different colored lasers in the color projection tv's. Someone told me a long time ago, but I just thought about it in the shower today, so I was wondering if anyone had any specs. on them. Sorry if I was wrong.

how do you know witch projection tv's have lasers and not just using lights?

LCD projection tvs use a lightbulb, DLP projection tvs use a lightbulb, and CRT projection tvs just use 3 colors of cathode ray tubes, sadly laser TVs aren't out yet, but a bunch of companies are working on them

CRT, isn't that a ray of electons who runs into a phosphor of some kind, causing fluorescens or am I completely off?

Laser projection TVs don't really exist yet, true blue and green are hard to make with diodes, and DPSS aren't very energy efficient and are quite expensive in making these things. There are those in the world working on making more powerful/efficient blue and green laser diodes, and once they are around, there will be RGB laser projectors to replace current LCD projectors (and even movie projectors?) and to make TVs many times better than what we have now. There are some problems to overcome, but they'll get here eventually.

Like others have said, laser projection does exist but is a fairly new technology. Mitsubishi has actually unveiled a laser projection TV at the 2008 CES:
