I ordered a Aries 150 which is above spec and more like an Aries 175 but I picked it up late Friday. Worked fantastically, amazing product except within a couple hours and only a handful of uses the tail cap pretty much completely broke. The threaded anchor plate that holds the key mechanism in place came completely unglued and just moves around freely. So the whole key mechanism just fell out. Wondering the best course of action. Obviously I will call Laserglow Monday morning but I just wanted some insight.

Cred goes to yobresal for teaching me this, take a small peice of aluminum foil and place it inside your tail cap where the battery goes, make sure the foil is touching the metal case, or threaded part of tailcap. Then screw it back on, making sure that the foil will touch the +battery contact. This completes the electrical circuit, bypasses all the saftey features including lock and remote interlock, and you can just turn your laser on and off w/o problems...

Or if the tail cap is completely unusable, you could tape foil over the battery + contact to the laser case, again completeing the circuit and making the laser work...
