Laser on for too long?

Maybe the spring isn't making good contact. If nothing moves when you shake it, get a different battery and try that.

I know i guess i was lucky that it didnt burn through 0.0

But anyways, My brother was just in the room and out of no where the laser turned on and he called me up, (laser was switched on obviously, but no way of me knowing) I was delighted but about 40 seconds later it decided to turn itself off

I guess the diode or driver is not fried though right?

Try using a long, skinny pair of needle-nosed pliers and tightening or loosening the retaining ring inside the tail cap clicky. Mine was loose from the factory and experienced intermittent connection issues like you describe.

Okay so for the past few days I have tried to contact Lazerer and had no success so I am now thinking I will disassemble the laser and try find the problem... The laser continues to come on every now and again only to turn off a minute later . I have no idea what the problem is and I've ordered a new battery... If that doesn't work I might as well send it back but I am worried because of the bad customer service. I dont think the glue near/on the spring is a problem otherwise it wouldn't turn on at all.
