Hi

I have posted about my laser that has stopped working on another part of the forum, but realise i should've posted here!

This is the laser:-

http://www.o-like.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=3

I can hear a slight rattle.

I see no way into the upper part of the laser to try a repair.

Suzi @ O-like says that i can send it back but i told her i think it may be out of warranty & i have no address!

Help appreciated

Is there any red dot coming out of the laser ?
Did you always follow the dutycycle ?
Either the diode is dead or the crystals are misalligned.

Hi

Yes, i always followed the duty cycle, never had the laser on for more than short blasts!

There is no dot or anything. I can hear a rattle inside.

Is there any way inside as i can't find one!?

Tried everything!! not sure whether its accessible via the bottom of the top piece where the spring is, or the top bit where you twist to focus!

Thanks

This is a 532 module right?

With that host you have to use a pair of needle nosed pliers to unscrew the module from the head. The issue I had with this host is that the driver board is exposed and moves a fair bit when batteries are inserted. You may have snaped a solder on the driver and it's rattling around in there. Whatever you do, don't try to unscrew the module by the driver you will just snap it off.

Hi Lase & thanks

When i look down the head towards the lense, i can see the copper colored area where the needle nosed pliers would fit! There's 2 little holes right?, but, i can only see 1 hole as the copper colored circle is s bit off center!

Is this job, if accessible, an easy one, as opposed to me sending back to O-like?

Thanks

Can anyone elaborate?, it doesn't seem to want to budge!

Not sure if its a LH thread or RH.

Help appreciated!
