Hey everyone,
I was wondering if there is a cheap stand for lasers, not something proffesional, just to hold it steady. If its able, can it be adjustable, so i can put different types of lasers. Budget 10-15$
Thanks,
Alex

have a look on dealextreme, they have a great combination of tripods and holders for only a couple of bucks (if you can be bothered to wait for shipping :p), styropyro did a review of a dealextreme tripod combination a few years ago

:) I made one alone :) I found a tripod and destroyed a 5$ camera for my pc, with a clip, and used some clips to hold it on it. It seems pretty steady however it is not moving smooth :)
Thanks for link, ill be buying the pyro one since i want it to stand :)

Perfect advice
I am not a big fan of these tiny tripods with clamps. For a total of 3-4$, these are horrendously overpriced for what you get.
My suggestion. Walk into wallmart or something and get the cheapest 10$ or less tripod. This is made for portable cameras and can take 200gm with ease.
you can also buy cheaper stuff

Then raid the office store or something, and get those "big clips".

After that get a screw with a big washer
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washer_(hardware)

Raid your garage, there will be lying there. Add a rubber washer too.
Fix the clamp permanently to the tripod using the metal washer, and then tighten. Make sure the rubber washer is also there so that the screw cannot open without adequate force.

These clamps can easily hold handheld hosts, and are available in smaller sizes too if you want to hold a pen host.
