My son is a rigger/scaffolder and needs something to point to where scaffolding needs to be attached, specifically for hanging scaffolds.

Basically he needs something visible over approximately 50-70 meters in daylight. He doesn't care if you just see the dot or a beam and dot.

Can anyone advise what would be most appropriate as we are very new to this environment and welcome your advise.

I am based in New Zealand.

Whats your price range? The green (532nm) will be your best bet for visability.

I don't have a specific price range. I guess whatever is needed to do the job without being over the top as far as costs go.

Something like this

Maybe in the 50-100mW range. Small, compact. Easy to throw in your pocket. Also has a key switch safety so if its laying on a table or someone gets their hands on it without knowledge of the power they don't blind themselves.

i have a 100mw green laser and can see it 200 feet away in broad daylight, so 100mw would be perfect i think
