If you want

You can just but a whole laser from o-like and get it in 2 packages (extra 5 dollars shipping or so) and it will have a 99 % chance of getting through customs...

You can also buy a lpc-815 diode and an aixiz module which are about 10 bucks for the lot and from then just buy a driver (10 dollars from jib77) and solder them all together..

There you have a standard size "drop in" which you can install into most host kits

I purchased a driver from them and connected it to a diode I purchased off of eBay (same difference). The o-like driver I have goes up to 200mA. That is enough to burn if you focus tight and get close (if that is your goal). As noted above, if you purchase the parts is small orders, you would have a better chance of getting your items through and on the up side, if any do get confiscated you have not lost everything and can just re-order the missing bits. Don't forget the safety glasses and good luck!

I know that ive been doing it for a while :)

what i want to know, would they strip down one of there 400mW greens and send it in parts?
