Hey all
I recently acquired a Kenometer from Kenom.
I firstly want to say well done to Kenom, it's an amazing meter with great capabilities for this low price.
If anyone is looking for a meter, get one of these and you won't look back.

Now, the software and Data logging works fine on Windows XP which is on a laptop, but my main computer runs Vista.
The app runs fine, but it doen't get any data from the COM port. I run it as Administrator, so it's not that. It think it must be the drivers that are incompatible with Vista (they were made in 2003).
So, has anyone got this morking with Vista?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jonno

Wait, since when do Kenometers have datalogging? Mine seems to be lacking the feature. :(

First, check Device Manager to make sure the COM ports are on and updated.

I think it was $320 including shipping to South Africa and Datalogging

I have tried running it in Compatibility mode and anything else I could think of.
I know the COM port and have tried other software with it. None of them worked, which leads me to believe that the incompatibility is with the drivers, not the software. It's almost like I need to 'run the drivers in compatibility mode'.

It's a multimeter that Kenom supplies with it to connect to the plugs at the back.
