IR FILTER HELP

yeah i just got a dx true 30mw, how can i tell if it has an ir filter, if it does am i able to take it out so i can blind my neighbours cat LOL

yeah and like if it doesnt where can i get an ir filter so i can get a bit more power in it

I think the TRUE DX ones do have IR filters. I may be wrong. If they do not have IR filters then they are called TRUE because they do more green and hardly any IR(hence the price difference).

Wow blinding your neighbors cat, thats real mature. Just as stupid as the people in Australia pointing their lasers at planes.

If it doesn't have an IR filter, adding one will not increase the power. It will reduce the power(not noticeable to the eye, only if it was capable of burning you would notice as mainly it is the IR which will burn and not the green).
