I need help building my first laser

i have expierience with electronics and know a bunch about laser pointers. I want to make a laser as powerful without being TOO harmful (ill be safe), but i only have 151 or maybe possibly 200 but assume i have 150 bucks. Can anyone give me step by step instructions , pictures would be good be obviousley just a word tutorial shall suffice. THANKS A TON

Thanx but i was sorta wondering which diode goes with what pieces and which one is powerful to light a match quickly from feet away. Anything?
