Hi all,

sorry for this silly question, but I feel safer asking and doing it right :)

I've got this glass lense:

AR coated glass lens for laser focusing modules [LENS2] - $5.99 : Modwerx Shop

Now the question is, how do I use it? Is it a direct replacement for the stock acrylic lens in the AixiZ module?

Which way is it supposed to be installed? I have no reference to distinguish front from back.

What about the spring? Do I have to cut the original spring shorter?

Many Thanks.

The spring will be fine. Hold the lens assembly and examine both ends, one end will have the lens close to the top, while the other end will have the lens recessed into the assembly and held in by a screwed in retaining ring. This end faces the diode and spring.

The flat (or more flat) part always go in diode direction.

as to the spring issue. to the contrary i always strech my springs. it takes some of the wobble out of the assembly.
