Default How to reattach a green module lens? CNI

I opened my Viper 75mw today and while I was looking at it my hand slipped and my finger took off a little piece from the top of the module. *It was a little fat gray disk. *I don't think I'll ever find it again and I have no idea what it was. *All I know is the divergence is awful now. *Also, it used to project a huge dot w/ some crescents if I unscrewed the top, but now it only makes a crappy dot, same as with the top on. *Does anyone know of a person/company that will repair it or let me buy that piece from them?

Default Re: Lost a tiny piece GAAHHH

that was a little lens. Try to contact CNI and tell them what happened, they should be able to send you a lens (assuming it's one of their pens...)

If not, try using an aixiz lens and see what kind of results you come up with.

@Ben- Probably not, but thanks.

:EDIT:- HOLY CRAP I FOUND IT! Does anyone know how to reattach it? It looks like they used superglue in the first place but I'm not sure.

Don't use superglue! it will fog up the lens, don't sure what you should use though :P

Gorilla glue works. A couple little blobs should be fine. If you use too much it will spread and foam up and make your life a nightmare.
Clean the lens first and do not touch the surfaces with your fingers.

gorilla glue expands 3-4 times be careful. I heard epoxy will work but don't trust me on that.Maybe mighty putty.
