It takes a super thin window to read alpha.

Uranium oxide. It's like 3% or 0.3%.

It's about twice the background radiation of the world. In other words, you could have these things sitting against your skin (e.g. a necklace) for a prolonged period of time, and you wouldn't really get hurt. If you're male, they will not make you sterile no matter where you put them.
