Well, my slightly used Hercules 350 arrived today and works like a charm (review, photos, specs, etc soon to come after I address a few things) - BUT the previous owner lost the adjustment key and the safety lockout for the tailcap. The laser arrived with a simple jumper in place in the tailcap so it works fine, my question is has anyone disassembled one of these and could give me some pointers as to whether I would be better off replacing the missing parts through Laserglow or would it be a fairly simple, RPL-Type mod to replace the adjuster and/or the lockout (I would like to be able to throttle this thing WAY back for basic use if I can)?

Thanks in advance if there's anyone out there with experience on this, Before anyone else asks YES anything black or dark or even not-so-dark immediately smokes or explodes when hit with this, unsharpied matches passed through the beam at 25ft light immediately, through a CD case in a matter of seconds, and your skin will burn NOW if you're an idiot like I was and try to test it against the beam.

Gotta love big silly toys!

Well I WISH I had a LaserBee Deluxe ;) BUT for now I've got a buddy who is in like his 13th year of working on his Masters at UW-Whitewater who measures stuff for me now and then (that's why a few of my toys are still unconfirmed, my "other half" feels I tend to have too much fun when I run up to the campus to see him!)... They have a Coherent of some sort if I recall correctly.

The Herc specs came right from LaserGlow, I emailed them the serial number and whatnot and they were VERY quick in getting back to me with the original specs on my 350.

Oh - and the good news is the guy I bought the Herc from found the keys and the lockout piece so they're on their way WOO HOO!
