Hi! After watching a couple of youtube videos , I decided that I wanted to modify a laser pointer.... I went to a store and bought the only model of laser pointer ( came with 2 led bulbs)

I took it apart and got this....

It is unlike anything that I have seen in the youtube videos. ....
Can anyone please tell me how I should proceed? Thank you very much.

I assume you mean you want to pot mod the laser. Yours does not have a pot so you cant mod it. Besides you will kill the laser if you pot mod it.

So is there any other way that I can make it stronger? If not, how can I make sure that a laser pointer has a pot the next time I buy one? Thank you.

Pot modding lasers does not work. The pot modding motion was started about 4-5 years ago when green lasers were only just becoming commercially available. Back then they were designed with some headroom, so it was possible to turn up the power a bit. These days they're already being pushed to the limit, so pot modding usually just kills the laser instantly, and if not, dramatically reduces it's lifetime. You can not pot mod a red laser like that one, it only worked with green lasers as they use a much higher power pump diode. You might be able to turn it up a few mW, but there is no point.

I do what I can....

Cho, in all seriousness, use the search bar at the top of each page here. Don't just ask questions and expect to be spoonfed all the answers. You're going to have to the work yourself.
