Help on First Build

If I set my driver to a little below 350mA would that be better for the diode and have a longer life? The only thing is I wouldn't want the power to go down too much. If it was set to like 325mA how much would it lower the output of the diode?

You have buried some very useful post with some mundane questions that are but one click away in the search feature. While I applaud those whom have been helping you along this thread I ask you to please read, re-read, and read some more before you would seemingly achieve a vet post count on your first build thread.:na: Thank you in advance.:thanks:

P.S. search you-tube for laser driver set up and you will be amazed. If for some reason you are unable to have the use of your hands or are handicapped in some other fashion then please disregard my statements and accept my humble apology.:undecided:

The name actually came from Louis CK it basically has no significance or means anything haha. Pretty funny story though...
And I apologize for the "painful spoon-feeding" that's definitely not what the purpose of this thread was supposed to be. I've been searching and reading a lot and was still slightly confused. I'll continue to search more, and again sorry about that.

Ok, I just finished it, but it's not working. I don't know what I did wrong, everything seems fine :undecided:. I'm thinking maybe it's one of my solder connections. I can upload pics of it tonight.
So I took some pictures, sorry they're blurry I had to use a really bad camera.
Am I missing something? I can't see what's wrong. Could it be a cold solder joint? Cause the solder joints do look pretty bad.
