Hello, tonight I got home and fired up my laser, I noticed that the dot appeared to have a "galaxy effect" and took off the focusing lens. With the lens it has a larger dot than normal but is not too bad, without it you get thisWIN_20140205_204002 (2).JPG Has anyone else have this problem? How can I fix it?

Thank you for your time.

Indeed. it does look like it's just dirty. What kind of laser do you have? First thing to try is some compressed air. If that doesn't work, general safe way to clean them is with 91% or better Isopropyl alcohol with no additives and a very gentle q-tip or microfiber cloth that is lint-free/non abrasive, or if it is glass and want to be hardcore, you can use lab-grade acetone and lens tissue. just two words...VERY GENTLY.

It's a 100mw greenie from thejoker301, I was very worrisome about using cotton as I did not want to scratch the lens. Today I'll go out and buy a can of air. Thanks for your reply, I was a little worried about it

No worries. If it's just dust, the air should make it improve. So it's a good first step
