I would be using a green laser (100mW) for an experiment as for now. I'm planning to modify the laser's button turn it into switch type and I would not be using button cells i'll replace it into connected power source (battery compartment) to give me consistent voltage. No clue what how to do that's why I'm going to try fiddling on a 1mW laser keychain. thanks in advance. Specifically the switch I want is a knife switch or toggle.

So how many threads are you going to start that asks the same question? Your other thread was better and had the potential to get more answers.

I have no idea what Laser you are referring to.....
How about a link to your 100mW 532nm Laser that runs on
button cells....

BTW... this is a knife switch....
I'm have trouble seeing this switch on a Laser Pointer...

BTW... I have to agree... this is the 2nd time you have
opened similar threads in different sections of the Forum.
You have already been told about this Spamming issue
of yours....:undecided:

Get a sp/st toggle switch and wire it in series with your power supply. I put mine between the - side of the battery, and the - contact on the driver. Haha jerry, throw the switch...... its alive!!!!

Sorry for the new thread again really I am, it's just i don't know how to delete my previous or edit the title so i guess i had no choice but to do one. I dont post multi because I want to have all the attentions i just cant see the delete button to delete previous thread.

Anyways, do you guys have some pics so i could follow it neatly? i'm very very new on dissecting lasers and lasers dont come cheap on my country so multiple buying isn't an option.
A knife switch is actually what I needed. and also would an AC-DC CONVERTER as my power supply could also replace battery compartment? Im thinking of NOT TRYING because I might blow up the whole thing. thanks!

"/_" is where your sp/st switch would go. there is a such thing as a sp/st knife toggle so use whatever switch you want. You could use a dp/dt to switch between a battery and a psu.

i haven't seen what's inside a laser but what i saw in youtube there's some spring for the button cells. so maybe you have some schematics or pics there? it's very annoying to ask this stuff i really dont know so had no choice.:undecided:
