Hello guys, I want a help with an infrared laser diode .
1. What's the polarity? the pin that is connected with the case is the ground and the other 2 positive and negative ?

2. You can see infrared beam at night ? or it's invincible?

Thnx

Regards

try to burn something or solder the wires to the driver and try different polarities by touching the pins to the wires.

DO NOT look into the diode, but you may see a blue pink red glow radiating from the diode. Maybe put it at an angle away from you close to a piece of paper and see if you see a glow. Also if you have a "night shot" camera, you can use that to view the beam, dot.

can anyone check the diagram and tell me if the polarity is right ? Btw because i didn't have driver , i checked the polarity with one AAA battery. I don't think so that diode burned :S or it has possibilities of getting burned?

Just search around bro. You need a driver 'cause you may fry the diode, and I doubt 1 AAA is enough juice to get it to lase with or without a driver.
