But I are there any other build's I could do and also with 6x one a clamshell heatsink for aixiz is good and all but.... I want to know battery life.

How long would one 9v last powering a 6x and how long would one 3 volt cr123a rechargable last.

cr123a is flexdrive and 9v is rckster

also what mA would be a nice life for a 6x and what would the power be?

Thank's that all I can think of so post away I guess.

generally, you shouldnt use 9v batteries for anything at all! a 9v is basically a stack of cheap alcaline batteries, with low current and little energy-"amount".
lithium (cr123a) is the best option available by far. tiny, high current, high energy-density. without bothering about exact numbers, think a factor of perhaps 2 to 10 for the runtime between a single 9v and a single cr123a with flexdrive. oh, and you lose quite a bit energy by "converting" the 9v down to something useful for the diode too..

second choice: two lithium cells!
