HI guys, I have finished building my 445nm laser set at 1A yesterday. Everything concerning the laser itself is fine but I found that it sometimes wouldn't work when the switch at the back was fully screwed in. I can turn it on only when the switch is screwed halfway in or using any other metal piece...:yabbmad:
I first doubted the switch but finally it's in perfect conditions. The batterie measured 3.9V which is perfect but when i tried applying pressure on both ends while measuring the voltage my dmm read between 2 and 2.5 volts.
This is clearly not enough voltage to power my laser!
To solve this, I thought about cutting the spring halfway or buying other batteries(if they're not all the same!)...
Anyone have ever seen this? Sorry, no pics for today:na: camera doesn't feel good right now
