I am thinking of ordering my first ever laser pointer (besides amazon/ebay 5mw green pen lasers) which is a 1w 445nm from rayfoss. The only problem is, there are two of the same lasers, except one is fwt and one is ftb?
What does fwt and ftb mean? Fwt is cheaper, and they both look different.

Here are the links on the two lasers:

FTB) www.rayfoss.com

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Because of that comment by ZRaffleTicket, i went to laserbtb, looking for a good 445nm 1000mw portable laser.
I was looking around, and to my surprise, I found one! This one was so cheap, that i decided that I was actually going to buy the 2000mW version!!!!!!!
I'm wondering if that's too powerful for what I need it to do. All I want in a laser is to 1. Burn stuff 2. shine around (at the sky) at night, and make it look like a light saber 3. NOT weaken over time, and be sturdily build. laserbtb also does not have any "cheap" laser safety goggles for 445nm. the cheapest i could find on laser btb was 31.00 USD. I thought that this was bull. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THIS IS THE LASER : http://www.laserbtb.com/productshow.asp?id=70

I would love for someone to answer these questions VVVVV

1) What is an fwt or ftb laser?

2) Could you recommend me a good laser for what i listed above, Perhaps a 2w is too powerful for my first?

3) Of the three lasers i listed in this thread, which is A) Highest quality (doesnt break easily, doesnt weaken over time) B) Trustworthy (actually as powerful as stated) and C)WITHIN MY BUDGET(I cant afford anything over around $250)

THANKS GUYS AND PLEASE RESPOND C:

Well I bought three lasers from rayfoss in my time in the hobby. All three have died or severely diminished in power over a short amount of time... I would recommend laserbtb for the "low price, decent quality" store.
