Default FlexDrive Shipped mA?

Just got my FlexDrive

Reading the manual it says it is shipped with the mAs at mid range, the solder jumper has no solder on it so it would be in the low range which is 91 - 151mA. So what would it be set at when it is shipped? Would it just be at 151mA at the moment?

I have tested it out on a old diode I have laying around and it all works, it appears to be rapidly blinking so I am guessing the batteries need changing there.

I have no way of testing it as I don't have a multimeter nearby at the moment.

the pot is not linear, its exponential, so it will not be at the midpoint of the min and max currents.

and you should really get a multimeter, you can't tell how much current or voltage something has by looking at it. no matter how hard you stare at it

and a test load to measure the current Rkcstr sells a good one for like $4, or you can make your own with some diodes in series and a 1ohm resistor.

Im taking everything to work tomorrow to test it all out and wire it all up. So I will sort out the mAs there.

I am using a old red diode I have laying around for the test load seeing as I wont be that annoyed if it dies, to be honest I cant see much difference at all with and without the driver on that diode which is my reason for posting this thread.
