Fixing Sandstone module

IN the process of trying to shorten my 100mW module from susie, I accidently cut what I hope to be just a trace. It was to the left of the spring, where the + input sign is. I'll add some pictures soon, but does anyone know where I need t bridge the gap?

On a related note, is there any way that I can shorten the module without damaging it. It is like 0.5cm short for my galileo, so won't fit. Can I use a hacksaw and cut off the spare metal at the front, or is there a battery that is a similar size to a CR123, but shorter

Thanks Guys

Pics are here now:
AS you can see, I tried to bridge it to the resistor, but I am beginning to think that it is just to the switch that I need to do it.

CR2 batteries come in Primary or rechargeable and measure 15mm X 27mm. A CR123 is 16mm X 34mm. So it may work for you...

Just curious, how did you end up accidentally cutting into the circuit board?

Well, being the genius that I am, I couldn't see a component, and thought it was just a solder pad, so I snipped it off to make more room :-[

Oh well, you live and learn ;D

We all make mistakes like that once in a while. ;D

Looks like you probably fixed it though!

If you lost the positive solder contact, then you could simply attach the positive connection directly to the brass body of the module.. All green modules are case positive.

The resistor thing didn't work, so i'll try the spring one at the weekend.

Thanks

Sorry, I missed this. I'm using it case negative, but it cut a trace, so the driver is useless for the moment.
