Hi Everyone,

I don't know or this is posted in the right section, but anyway.
A year ago I bought a 50mw green laser of Dealextreme.
It burned out, and now I wanna fit a new module
I bought the module from ebay (wich is 12mm)
But my question is or I can still use my focusable lens with the new module.
Module; http://www.benl.ebay.be/itm/260541750065?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

Possibly. You may have to remove the lens on the new module before you install it.
If you look at the module in the e-bay link you provided, you will see that the brass parts are threaded together in sections. The section containing the output lens (with the threaded tip) is the part you will have to remove.

What did the original module look like (the broken one)? Do you have a picture?

Yeah, I am pretty sure that you can just remove the lens on the new module and press that into the host and it will work fine.
I'll upload a picture of one of those modules and you will see what I mean...

However, one problem you may encounter is that those cheapy modules (even some of the more expensive ones) are not aligned very well so the optics may require some small adjustment to get the beam into the focusable lens just right.
