Im going to buy (another..) diode and try this again...I am going to check every single solder i do and recheck it...im probably going to use shrink tubing this time too...I think the problem happened when the solder from the battery to driver broke and the wires disconnected.  I found a host that i want to use...Its not sleek..its a lab style(the link wont work..something about cookies or something) ..im following a blu-ray guide...Same idea though you put the driver and the diode in the aixiz housing and pop it into the heatsink...shrink tubing galore...and then hook the batteries up outside the heatsink and yeah...will that work?

as well as the 4/6 1N4001 diodes?

Ok..i ordered the new diode...(i learned how to press fit it into an aixiz module) and i got the heatsink..I am going to put the diode into the aixiz module and put shrink wrap all over it  ;D ;D then ill put the back on the aixiz module and put it in my heatsink...then ill just solder the positive from the diode to the positive on the driver and the same for the negatives and ill hook my driver up to my 6v battery source(it made my last diode burn...R.I.P diode...you lived a good 1 hour long life)

    1) How do i measure the current? Are there any other ways bysides using a DMM because i dont have one :'( (i have a regular one though..it just has the little arrow that will point in the green if your battery is good...)
    2) what current should i run it at? (its a red senkat diode)

In that schematic up there it says other features are needed for blue-ray what are they?
