So the other day I was using my 95mW DL Viper and all of a sudden I saw a very noticable drop in power. The batteries (standard duracell) were fresh and I tested them when I got back home and they were still reading 1.45V. I tested it on my LPM and it was reading around 20mW (from ~90mW). I have never dropped it or run it longer than 45 seconds. It is around 3 years old but didnt really have a lot of use. I am always very careful with this laser.

So has anyone had a problem like this before. Are these things known to have a significant drop in power after awhile?

I was considering selling this, I guess it is a good thing this happened before I got rid of it.

Thanks
