hello,
i gently installed a blueray diode into an aixiz module, using a hobby vice and very small socket as a tool to press the diode into the aixiz.
it seemed to seat ok, but it looks to the eye like the diode is a just little bit cockeyed in the aixiz.
the diode is just below the flush surface of the module, which i understand is correct from other reading i have done.
so my question is just how perfect does it have to be seated? as i said, it isnt that bad, but i can see it isnt quite perfectly seated.
i thought about trying to push on the edge of the diode that is a bit high, but dont want to damage it.
is there anything else to make a good tool to use to seat the diodes?
from the videos i have seen of diodes being seated, it doesnt look like people pay much attention to exactness of seating.
thanks
