Hey all, I just received all the parts I order for my first 445nm build, and consequently went to work on it. After I got everything together, I hooked it up, only to find that my host's tail clicky (a Cree C6, as seen here: $10.90 - C6 DIY Cree LED Flashlight Full Casing/Shell with Driver Pill (2*CR123A/1*18650) - Flashlight Parts and Tools ) didn't work correctly. The only off position is when actively pushing in on it for some reason. This very nearly caused me to get an up-close and glasses-free view of the beam, which scared the heck out of me, as I assumed it was off. Does anyone have experience repairing these things? I couldn't find an easy way to get it open, and probably wouldn't know what I was doing once I got in there anyway. The only progress I made was putting some extra rubber underneath the rubber button to add some extra pressure to keep it from making contact when off, but that required pulling it to turn it off, and was always coming loose. I really don't want to have to just order a new one, especially considering DX's shipping speeds... :cryyy:
Anyways :thanks: in advance for any advise.
