can I pot mod this laser?

As some of you know I bought 2 laser modules and I'm wondering if it is possible to pot mod this unit without obliterating it. And if it is possible please tell me to what extent you recommend modding it to as a max.

Anything with a pot can be modded. How far you can do it is different with EACH module.

ok, well it's good I got 2 of them. By the way, does anyone know what brand the module is?
I'm also going to use a capacitor, a switch, and camera flash circuit board to keep from having the laser on for very long (I don't know if that helps with the laser's life while on, but I do know it does when you factor in off time). But the problem is I don't know how to calculate the time the laser module will be on with that kind of setup when the capacitor is full and switched on. Also only thing I know for certain about getting the right capacitor is it has to be 3 volts.
