Building my first, but need help

Okay, so i've been looking at all the cool stuff here for a while now, and I'm finally deciding to build my own.
I am planning on following the guide Daedal made about the DIY Laser Torch (sorry, cant post links yet)
and am in the parts ordering process, except for the fact that i have a 16x DVD burner waiting in my garage.
The only real trouble i am having is with the AixiZ Module;
-what is it?
-do i need a certain one?
-where exactly can i get it?

So, basically i am asking for someone to point me in the right direction, and tell me what i need to buy. I want power, or at least enough to do some sweet burning, but want to spend least amount possible. So if anyone is kind enough, help? Thanks alot!

An aixiz module is a small 5mW laser that comes in a handy metal case that you can reuse for other diodes... It provides a culminating and focusing lens that you need to make a beam.

You can also buy them direct from aixiz off ebay.

You need one because without it you'd have nothing to hold your diode in place, no lens, and nothing to hold the lens in place, plus without being in contact with metal your diode would soon overheat. The aixiz module provides a degree of heatsinking, in addition to mounting and focusing the diode.
