Hello everbody,
I really enjoy building things and I would like to learn to build lasers.
I started yesterday reading a book to understand how the laser works but I wish to start right now to build a cheap laser.
Would you give me please a tutorial for building a laser that costs 30$ or less?
And also I would like you to give me some recommendations for online shops for buying the particles I need.
And I will be glad to get some pdf books about lasers cause I dont think that what I found is good.

Thank you!

Come on man, do a little searching yourself. It's not like the information is hidden on this site.

Thank you for commenting.
I read most of the articles and I now better understand the subject. I still have'nt find any online shops that sell red laser diodes ranging from 5mw-200mw (I want to buy some that can withstand 5mw power and one or two that can withstand 200mw power because I firstly want to achieve experience before moving to more expensive diodes)
Would you give me some online shops to buy 5mw diodes for cheap? (under 6$ for each)
The only one I found are this diodes in dx:
SI766LVB2 650nm 5mW Red Light Laser Diodes Set - Golden (5 PCS) - Worldwide Free Shipping - DX
Are these good ones?
Thank you

No need to bump, you have all the info given to you in this thread http://laserpointerforums.com/f51/i-want-build-laser-thread-52972.html which leads you to this thread http://laserpointerforums.com/f51/diodes-compilation-all-diodes-data-one-thread-45042.html and this thread http://laserpointerforums.com/f67/driver-compilation-thread-all-drivers-just-one-thread-52799.html

In the diode compilation thread there are LPC-815 diodes but the better ones are LPC-826 which are ~$10 each.

And you should be reading EVERYTHING not "I read most of the articles", there are still builds being made with LPC-826's so it should be pretty easy to get some sources.

Just follow this thread for further help http://laserpointerforums.com/f50/first-build-lpc-826-c6-host-78359.html this should have been easy to find all I had to do was put "LPC-826" in the search bar, its there for a reason please use it.
