You need to resize your images, they are too big. Use 800x600, that's perfect.

If I am not mistaken, you can use 5 volts input on that one, use an universal AC/DC adaptor if you have one. Plug is standard cylindrical socket, fits most unversal adaptors.

Don't under any circuimstances feed any AC power to any laser module.

AH sorry about that. Didnt even realise they were that large.

So your saying I wont be able to make this module porable?

Well you could, if I am not mistaken, the driver could take two pile lithium 3.0V cells each, and if you can install it in a host with 2x 16340 cize or 2x CR2 size cells, it'll work nicely.

Problem is fitting a module that size into something handheld. It's quite huge.

Ive found a host that will fit it, should be here sometime this week, i got the seller to open it and measure inside it and all, it will fit pretty perfectly.
It will have room for 3 AA batteries.
I figured I could run it on 4.5V (3 AA's)
Should be safe, yes?

Im just not sure what to do with that AC/DC plug..
Cut it off and solder the wires to the hosts clicky wires?

You'd need to get rid of the cable all together, and put a spring on one input of driver if possible, or connection to the contact of batteries somehow.

Well, if you can take the module apart and take some nice closeups, and take pictures of your host too, we could help more. This would just be blind speculating.

So a single 18650 or three 1.5V Alkalines should do just fine.
Hooking these up to your module, I would start by cutting off the plug.
Then you have to go into crazy/creative mode.

Not a chance that this module is coming apart lol.
Its pretty solid.
I've cut the cord, and I see a red and a black wire.
I'm assuming now all I need to do is connect it to the batteries contact within the host?

I'm guessing you already know this, but:
Red = +
Black = -
99% of the time. ;)
