Hello, so I was using my blue/violet SDLaser 303 today until it stopped working out of nowhere and I heard a scrambling sound inside that i haven't heard before so I opened up and had a look.

Out fell a little black spool with copper wiring running around it. I have no cluse what this is or what do now. Can you "Pros" help me out?
:thanks:

That is a inductor off the driver board, the driver must have got fried really bad, there is nothing you can do, sorry but your laser is toast, throw it away and buy a new one. Save up some money and buy a better one next time. A 303/301 and other cheap Chinese garbage is always a gamble.

Alan is correct, that would be an inductor off of the driver.

I'll second what he said - save up and buy something quality. I've had two of those 405nm 303s (301s?) die after very little use. They're cheap at least! :D
