I have a Dragonlaser 95, its about two years old and it broke a while ago it was my fault i left it in a car door for about a week and wit was slammed shut multiple times, but now i want to know how to fix it. Ive already put in multiple new batteries so thats not the issue, the problem is that when i turn it on it is bright for about 2 seconds then quickly loses brightnessand becomes very dim.

I have never fixed a laser before so some help would be greatly appreciated.

i believe it might be the same as this current model: Viper Series 95mW Green Laser Pointer :: Green Laser Pointer ----- 532nm Laser ----- Viper Series Lasers :: Handheld Lasers :: Dragon Lasers

It sounds like that either through excessive heat or repeated impact the crystal alignment has been altered. You chances of "fixing it" are about zero. The module would have to be replaced.

Peace,

Could you make a vid how the dot is and then dims?

I think it's quite hard to tell what would be damaged and how/if it can be fixed.
But if the laser got shocks and the crystal is damaged then I think it can't be repaired :cryyy:

I'd recommend you O-like or rayfoss
Or look in the b/s/t section if a member sells something you like ;)
