Default Bitlasers "BitBrew" help

EDIT: problem solved. One of my batteries was bad So I purchased the 1300mW 445nm bitbrew laser from Bitlasers. I have already emailed them about the issue so I'm waiting on their response. I know he is a member here. But if someone could help me sooner that would be awesome it's not working and I think its obvious why.

The solder is not making contact with the pill. My question is if I should go ahead and add some solder or wait for a response before attempting anything.

Lol yeah I figured it was probably user error as it seems to be with me so often. And I'll be doing that here shortly

I saw your email when I woke up, but good to see you fixed it already. Yes, the ground connection to the driver is made inside the pill, it doesn't matter that there is no contact on the outside.

After using unprotected batteries for a few years I was used to being able to tell when they needed a recharge. I recently bought some protected cells and one of my lasers just stopped working, no taper off or flicker just won't turn back on. Tore the whole laser down checked the diode the driver no issues...lol it was a good exercise.

Thats where I was lol. I'm eager to learn how to build and repair lasers so when one isn't working I jump to more complicated conclusions first and usually its a simple fix like this. at least when its a problem with a purchased laser. once i start putting my own together i'm sure i'll run into more problems actually worthy of asking for help on lol.
