Hi ,
Here are some pics of Avatar's SL/ SS /M140 & driver . This time there's a driver in the build and thermal compound on the CU module also threw it a dust cap for his 3 element lens and polished the extended CU heat sink. The two LPM readings are his 3 element and my G2 lens..for testing the build repair..

I also want to thank Gary of Survival Lasers who helped iron out this issue awesome customer service bare none,..you the man!!
Here are some pics::

Rich:)

Rich, this was a very unusual customer service issue so I figured we should go the extra mile on it. I doubt whether that particular situation will ever happen again. And thanks for helping him out as well! :beer:

Hi E,
Thank you, Let me tell you when i thought it was a wire and opened up the build and seen no driver. Probably didn't have to test the diode but i did DOA...
Bowtie made me laugh stating "And i been wasting money on drivers all this time"

What kind of thermal grease is that? I've only seen grey stuff.
Nice job on the repair. I just mailed out my third repair this week. This time it was on an arcane 2.0 and as per usual what a mess it was. Spent at least 3 hours making it right.
