The square code looks too large to match my 8X. Although it is difficult to discern, it also looks different. Steve is also looking at the possibility of these. They have been VERY wrong about what they had before. Are they willing to send a sample for testing? Remember, both the 4X and the 6X had the "ice cube" glued to the extension of the heat sink. This heat sink is different as well. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it yet.

If you have sold your LPM by then, I advise you send one to dave so he can give it a thorough test

no my meter is still for sale at a cheap price i dobt it sells  ....but if it does ill send one to any one for testing

That's what they said about the ""12X"" that ended up being a BD reader.  It was a 12X alright.  It could burn DVD's at 12X.  

I hope for the best, but trust them no farther than I could throw one of them.
