700mw 405nm diode to run thru an EBB board from Sparkfun

Anyone have any suggestions as to how to safely connect a 700mw 405 Diode to an EiBotBoard (Sparkfun electronics)?
I hope to control it using Inkscape open source software (eggbot extensions).

I think you need to do more reading before buying anything or putting stuff together. From your questions, it sounds like you don't even know basic electronics, or even what a laser driver does. A forum thread like this isn't the place to teach you this, and you should spend more time going through tutorials, basic electronics, etc. on this forum and others. If the schematic above is like Latin for you, then you need to learn how to read schematics.

I'm telling you this not to discourage you from proceeding, but because without additional learning, you'll probably break things, and waste your time and money. Most important, you might end up injuring yourself. Lasers are no joke, especially those for engraving.
