So MarioMaster has been building a RGV projector over the last few weeks for me and today is the day that I have to decide what to set the diodes at. I Just wanted to post this to have some of the more experienced members check my numbers.

Here is the driver link.... http://74.58.33.200:81/RGBLaserDiodeDriver.htm

For the SF-AW210... the test showed these numbers with the G-1 lens
130ma-191mw
150ma-241mw
180ma-284mw
200ma-335mW

So I was thinking something like 160mA to 170mA for a 4 hour duty cycle.

No tests were run on the LOC but yall should know what those numbers look like anyways....But I was thinking something like 380mA for the same 4 hour duty cycle.

PLEASE let me know what you think about these numbers

Here is a pic of the heatsink on the BR and the same will be on the LOC

Those results aren't far from what I got - at around 170-200mA (Can't remember which) I get 280mW or so, with a 405-G-1 lens. Nobody's really done a lifetime test of these diodes, but I considered the approx. 180mA the highest I was willing to go for a longish lifespan in a pointer. I use a large auminium "sink" and have run it for several minutes, but it doesn't seem to warm up very fast. It all depends on how much power you need - it should look amazing at 300mW with fog, but you might be better off at 250mW instead, with the increase in lifetime offered.
