445nm Build Question

I'm about to start some lathe work for my 445nm laser host. Before I waste any copper, I would like to know approximately the distance between the laser diode and the lens when focused to infinity.
I am using 445nm axis glass and a a140 diode.

I will be modifying the host that is linked below so it will have better heatsinking capabilities, but i will be using the focusability of the host. I only want the lens to come close enough to the diode to columate the beam, but not much closer. I will be able to fine tune that after.

The host seems to be able adjust the distance of the lens by about 8mm.

Thanks,

Steve
