Hi, atm I'm making DDL's circuit for my Senkat diode, running 4 AAA's, I was wondering how I could adjust it to run on just 2 batteries? so a 3v input instead of 6v? or even running a 9v battery.

the driver has some voltage drop by design, it has to have a higher voltage then it's regulating at or it won't work, but you could use a boost circuit to increase the voltage from the batteries

4 AA = not enough power, will sag almost imediately and the regulator will not work properly.
2 RCR123a batteries =7.2v which will work fine
3v input will not work at all
PP3 9v = not enough MAH to run senkat red at full power

If you're getting the AMC7135 regulator, then there's no need for you to make a boost circuit, you can power it with 3 AAs.
