It may be 300mW true. Two thirds of which is IR due to poor crystalline structure and synthesis procedures . You may be viewing 100mW of 532nm light if your lucky.

Another user on the forum USABRO I believe his name is mentioned this laser as well IIRC(he mentioned it only cost $15 to make it 1W, which yours shows also).
Anyway, you aren't going to get a brand NEW 500mW-1W 532nm laser for around $200-300(at least not today), you got scammed

i am just worried about them getting here, because the EMS mail service was tracking the package and now they aren't. Shouldnt they track the package all the way to its destination? or atleast until usps receives it? It sucks to have to send them both back because of quality, but i dont think im going to keep these lasers. I will have to go through the long process of returning them. i would rather have gotten the 2w blue from btb and the 300mw green for less money.

There is not way tp determine anything before you get it. If you like it keep it.
Get it checked when you get it---you have 7 days to returnit for a refund. Not much time to do it however.
The web site does say " This high power 1000mw burning green laser is the cheapest in the world. We sell it as promotional green laser."

i got these lasers today. dude they are pretty badass. i have no way to test them. Maybe its bc im new to lasing but dude. these things are uber bright in the night sky. could easily get in trouble with them if one was irresponsible. Plus i was complaining about what you guys were saying about the greenie and they are letting me return it for the refund, but now im not sure i wana send it back! if btb is brighter than this thing--than OMG BRO!

Did I say $15 bucks for 1w 445nm? That sounds pretty cheap. Maybe $150.
$15 for the cheapest host. $60 for the diode. $10 for the lens. $20 for the driver. Maybe it's even cheaper than $150.
What your lucklaser green able to light a match from 3 feet?
I'd go for that ebay one I got. It can light a match at like 5 feet, light toothpicks and candles, and for $85 if anything go's wrong, you haven't laid down $300. It's blue though so if you want green, pay alot.
If you must have a powerful green laser, here you go although it's more expensive than wicked lasers. Although they don't sell anymore.

Do you have your laser glasses yet erosxel? If so, and if you are able to, please tell us what you can burn or light with it! The laser might be over 100mW if it can light a match without a black marker or magnifying glass.

And guys for th e final time these lasers are 1.6w modules. 1.6 watt, or 1600mW.... tested two both were 1500-1600mw
