Ok guys so my 250 mw laser is broken , its a green laser. If this helps on the front it says YL-Laser 303 . Ok so it was working fine until i opened the back ( where the battery goes in ) and saw that the spring was bent . Being the dumb nut I am i took a pen and straightened it out now it doesnt work and everytime i put in the battery the spring gets bent again . I dont have a soldering iron , the laser can be seperated into 3 parts . First is the cover in the front , secound is the laser module itself and the case ( the part with the button in the middle) and lastly the back which covers the battery . I have no idea if this has anything to do with this problem but to make the laser work You have to unlock it with a key in the back and then you can press the button . The battery type or number is 18650 if that helps. Please help:yabbem::yabbem::yabbem::yabbem::undecided:

Do this simple test to see and get back to me. Plug in your battery correctly and leave the tail cap off. Next take a piece of metal and connect one end to the bare threads of the case and the other end to the battery and see if the laser will turn on. If it does then your tail cap is faulty.
Be very careful when doing this. Don't drop your laser and wear your safety glasses at all times.

Then it's not the tailcap which is bad.

Just checking, you avoided the black anodized area when you used the paper clip on the laser right? You have to touch the exposed threads. It's shiny.

How did it stop working did you drop it?

Oh yeah it bent they skimp on those, bend the metal back over so it touches the rim. This should fix it.

Do you have a power meter?

I do not own a power Meyer and what do you mean like bend the spring so it touches the laser casing or housing?
