Okay I'm getting The following from Senkats site, A assembled adjustable laser driver a load tester a diode installed in a axizs housing. And plan to use it in a Dorcy Mini single CR123 flashlight host. Heres where my problem comes in :'( I'm not putting in a heatsink YET till I raise the funds but what Ma should I set it to to give me a long life it wont be running long a few seconds at a time max what do you think I want decent burning power what like 250ma to 200ma? Or as low as 180ma I plan to kick it up to 290When I get a heatsink.

EDIT: One last note what would be another possible "CHEAPER" than a dorcy and a bit bigger cause the dorcy a mini kinda thing any ideas i don't feel like ordering ofline again cause thats a big pain Like from bestbuy or target of meijers.

ok if you are planning to youse a 20x laser diode then i would put it to 400ma but at first i would have
it at 350ma to see how it works and remember to youse saftey goggles if you dont you will blind
your self even if it does not hit your eye directly. ;D
