I have a wide beam laser diode that i got from amazon for a couple bucks, came with the driver attached as well as a module around it, it has a threaded top.
It has some sort of "wide lens" on the inside with 2 dimples after i remove the exterior "focusing" lens. The focusing lens does...from what i can tell nothing. I'll take some pictures and link it, but as far as the focusing lens goes.
Now my question is, can i fit this crazy module inside of a host? can that wide beam lens be replaced with a better divergence lens?
Just a few questions, currently it is running off of one of my 18650's. The listing said it was 130mW 660nm at title, said 650nm in description. (looks more 650 to me)

(last 2 pics are with and without the "focusing" lens on, looks....the same)
