why didnt the 400mW red laser blind me??

ok so stupid reasons i let my friend play with it and he accidently shined it at my eye and i saw a huge black circle then i wanted to beat him up so bad but then after 20 sec i saw my vision coming back??

i thank god it wasnt permanent....

but i want to know why didnt it blind my eye?

It most likely wasn't 400mW and there probably is damage, you just don't notice it, your mind can trick you into thinking it's not there, so you won't notice it. Definitely go see an eye doctor soon and get checked out to be sure.

If it had been a 45 You would have a lot more on Your hands then Eye trouble. Think on that. Be Careful especially if someone else is on the wrong end of a weapon
