Where do you find Class IV-capable red diodes?

I did a couple of forum and Google searches to find an answer, and couldn't really find any information about it.

Where exactly do you find a red (any red wavelength works) diode that can put out 500mW+? What can you harvest them from, and is there a place to purchase 500mW+ red diodes by themselves?

You can't 'harvest' them from some drive. They're available from places like CNI or snoctony on eBay, but at a price of about $500, and are c-mount.

So what's the highest power red diode you can get for a reasonable (under $100) price that will work in an AixiZ module?

An LOC or LCC then.

Edit: You can drill an aixiz to fit a 9mm diode, if you can find a 9mm red that is.

So the LOC and LCC are both 9mm? Are there powerful 5.6mm red diodes?

Any idea what burner drives I'll have to buy to find the LOC and LCC?

Id try 75, if not, find a 76 but that mind be hard.

If you really want it though, you might need to settle for a 74 which isnt as good but it provides the correct amount.

EDIT: Just remembered about the new 77 that just came out the day after yesterday, it works quite well for your applications but remember the size differences will require you to cut off the main cuttable piece for it to function as normal in your setup.

For whatever reason, they were giving you information for which you had no reference. I tried googling 74,75,76, etc. and it turns out that these are numbers.



But on a more serious note, it looks like they are talking about Mitsubishi laser diode part numbers.
