I am new to all this laser stuff, so please excuse my ignorance :)

I have just ordered one of the DX 200mw red lasers, and am looking for some suitable safety glasses.

i was thinking of the ones at Dragon Lasers, but I'm a little confused about exactly what wavelength this laser will produce.

The glasses on that site show they will protect from 640nm to 750nm, but I'm not sure whether this laser will be within those limits.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The red lasers, you can easily get, will be between 645-675nm

The DX200 is about 660nm so that will work. Really any goggles designed for 650nm will work too.

Re: What wavelength is the DX200 Red laser (11315)

Thanks for the prompt replies guys!!

A little confused as there are two different types of glasses listed as follows:

one for lasers with wavelengths of 590nm to 650nm. OD>3.5 for 200-400nm, OD>3 for 590-650nm

and

one for lasers with wavelengths of 640nm to 750nm. OD>2.5 for 190-420nm, OD>3 for 640-750nm

So the 2nd one listed would definitely be the best one to get?

The second one would be my pick.
